Information you provide
When you suggest an event, we receive the event title, organizer, date, city or area, focus, public source URL, optional notes, and any optional email you provide. A correction report includes the selected event, your explanation, and any optional email. A privacy request includes your email, request type, and message. Please do not include medical history, private ceremony locations, or other sensitive personal details in any form.
How we use it
Submissions enter a private editor review queue. We use event information to verify and improve public listings. We use email only to clarify a submission or respond to a privacy request. We do not use submitted emails for marketing, sell them, or publish them. A public event listing may include verified event facts and a link to the organizer’s public page; your form notes and email are not published automatically.
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form submissions. When the editor uses connected ChatGPT review tools, submission notes and privacy-request messages and reply addresses are processed through that service so the editor can review them. Access to the review queue is restricted to the site editor.
Browser storage and technical data
The save button stores event IDs in your browser’s local storage so saved events remain on this device. The site does not receive that list. You can remove saved items with the same button or clear this site’s local storage in your browser. The hosting and security provider may process IP addresses, device and request details, and use necessary security cookies to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently run advertising pixels or a separate analytics service.
How long we keep submissions
When an editor resolves an event tip or correction, its contact email is removed from the active review database. Event tips and corrections are deleted from that database after 12 months through routine cleanup. An unanswered privacy request stays in the private queue until the editor handles it; the request is deleted from the active database when the editor marks it completed. Hosting provider logs and backups may follow separate retention periods.
Other websites
Organizer, ticket, social, and other outbound links open third-party websites. Their privacy practices apply after you leave psyched.events. We do not collect registration or payment information for those events.
Access, corrections, and deletion
Use the form here to ask what information you submitted, correct it, or request deletion. Please provide the email you used with the original submission when possible, or the event title and approximate date if you did not provide an email or it has already been removed. We may need to verify that the submission is yours before disclosing or changing it, and may be unable to identify an anonymous submission. We cannot remove information held by an event organizer or another website.
Changes
We may update this page when the site’s data practices change. The effective date above will change with it.
